Solo Monk Build

I will probably be soloing most of the time with my monk and I'm planning to platy a deep elf. Any ideas about the best stats and traits for soloing? Also, what is the deep elf racial trait?

completely irrelevant. But not having ultravision is gonna impact your game-play a lot, especially in the deep. even at 100 gamma in a lot of places (dungeons especially)

Dub I can't find a single thing endurance is actually good for anymore.

Agi>dex>sta>str would be my build. Agi will be key for your survival.

Brettanomyces why is strength rated so low? It is damage bonus! Why is dex higher? Simply for proc chance?

dex is hit rate in this aswell as procs, and flying kick/round kick scale off of dex for damage, its kind of the king stat for monks

Ralz Im not a monk, but on my Archer I maxed strength first. I now regret that after allof the changed over the last few months. Next time i'm maxing dex, adding in some agi and then maybe str. Missing abilities is absolutely devestating when soloing now. Dex is far and away the most important offensive stat

Okay! Thank you folks so much for all of your replies! I really appreciate your info. As a total noob I think I'm going with the following:

Str 18
Sta 18
Dex 23
Agi 22

Yes, I went with a wishy washy, I have no idea what the hell I'm doing, point distribution. This seemed like the best choice because ultimately these points probably won't mean much and, again, I have no idea what the hell I'm doing. Although the dex emphasis was certainly deliberate. Anyway, as for traits on a deep elf:

Magic Resistance
Ultravision
Knife thrower
Medic

Thanks again for the input. Love you guys and hope to get to know all of you better as the game grows and I start to learn what the hell is going on. 🙂

Dub FYI the trait selection isn't particularly important right now. They're reworking all racials and traits right now and the changes likely won't make the EA cutoff. They said you'll do a full reselect once the new traits come out.
