Hide doesn't break charm anymore ?

I used to do druid's swarming and use hide to break charm. Today I went to check my druid and I found that Hide now doesn't break charm anymore. Can someone confirm this ?

Edit: okay for actual serious reply, why do you need to use invisibility to break charm anyway, why can't we just use the dismiss button in the pet ui?
Yes this is a rethorical question I'm well aware this is just one these many because muh EQ did it holdovers.

K99 Hide was nerfed to be a stealth effect instead of an invis effect. First time I tried hiding on the zone wall to bio 1 after the change I died to a rather far away patroling hill giant.

You can only dismiss summoned pet and not charmed pets unless they've changed that which I doubt.

jobanab Thanks for the confirmation. That's a big nerf if you're a druid who usually swarm kite.

I was playing a goblin druid during the beta but was planning on going wood elf for the Hide ability in EA. Now i'm not so sure. Bribe might be a much better route to go with Hide in its nerfed state.

Doozle90 All racials are actively being reworked, so what you see now will be changed within a short time. From Ali in discord:

In general, innate racials will be more along the lines of vision types, resistences and some bonuses to skills.
Then each race gets 3 racial trait options. Those will be more impactful

jobanab Thanks for the post! I did actually see this, and I really hope they end up posting some more information around this prior to EA. I hope people (myself in included) won't make race choices based on certain racials just to have it change. I'm leaning towards just picking a race for cosmetic appearance and hope I don't end up losing out based on reworked racials.
