EQ had the Illusion Masks that had a clicky spell for a specific race illusion. Diff masks for diff race illusions. The were resticted in use by class i think(rogue/bard?), with a couple exceptions.
Some were especially sought after, like the Gnome illusion mask, as that came from the Sleepers Tome and was no longer available once the Sleeper had been awoken.
I think, if i remember right, the way they worked was you'd look like the certain race, and that would give you some level of better rep, but they would still see your class and diety and that may be enough for them to still hate you.
I'd be supprised if they didn't have/add something similar to M&M.
Thematically it would be awesome for Rogues to have disguises to help infiltrate places they shouldn't be in.
