In its current implementation, the Elementalist spell Master of Elements is deeply frustrating. As a 15-minute cooldown, it morphs the caster into a random elemental for 15–18 seconds, adding bonus damage to your next melee auto-attack based on the form received.
I suggest the following instead:
• Skill: Alteration / Conjuration
• Mana Cost: 100?
• Casting Time: Instant
• Recast Time (Cooldown): 15+ Minutes
• Duration: 20 Seconds
• Target: Self & Active Pet
The caster temporarily sheds their mortal form to become a living conduit of the planes, while binding their active pet to the same surging current. For 20 seconds, the Elementalist transforms into a Specific Primal Elemental form, granting complete spell immunity resistance to that element and adding heavy bonus elemental damage to all offensive spells cast during the duration. Concurrently, your summoned pet gains absolute immunity to its own native element and infuses its physical strikes with severe bonus elemental damage.
Thanks!
