Add spells and trainers to all cities for all classes

bobthebunny

I often play in both Night Harbor and Faelindral areas, and as a Paladin it is rough having to go back to NH for spells.

Please add a spell vendor and trainer for all classes to these major cities. It can be flavored as an outreach program or something. It doesn't even have to be in the cities, just on that side of the world somehwere close to the city would be helpful.

bobthebunny That would break the bits of lore that exist for the Wood Elves trying to return to the realms of the fae and their communing with nature. These don't seem like people who would be cool with necromancers setting up shop and raising the dead in the middle of their city.

What would make more sense is adding more vendors and trainers to Penshaw in KB. There is an Inquisitor trainer there and that should be expanded to have Paladin, Cleric and Fighter as well (at minimum).

Krake

It's inconvenient, but convient and standardized services in every city make every city the same. Consequently it takes away reasons to visit places, and leads to a more stagnant experience. I think how they have it now is pretty good. Also, it's nice for a game to actually care about its lore.

bobthebunny

That's why I suggested some kind of outpost near the city if it fits the lore better. I just shouldn't be punished for exploring the world.

I think the problem here is the mindset. You aren't being punished by having to travel the world, the journey is part of the adventure.

bobthebunny

b0ry I've taken the boat almost every day, and I'm done with that "adventure" while my fiends wait 2 hours for me to round trip for spells.

Those of the nay sayers, would it ruin your game experience if some little hut outside of the city had a few spell vendors?
I'm guessing no.
Is it ruining my experience to waste hours traveling back and forth? yes.

Is there a way to know if these suggestions and feedback has reached the devs?
