I'll edit this as I play more.
Hundred Fists - Feels very underpowered. Shares cooldown with Celestial Strike. I don't see an instance where I would use this over Celestial Strike. Channeled ability feels gross. If it were like the old fighter Frenzy ability I may consider it, but missing out on auto attack damage to use it, along with the 10 sec longer cooldown than CS, this skill will not be used.
Slow Breathing, reducing your air consumption by 80%... but cannot be used indoors or dungeons. There is basically nowhere else in the game that having reduced air consumption would come in handy. This skill is a waste of an ability.
Pinning Throw - This needs to be in the skill book with the other Throw ability.
Quivering Palm - Feels lackluster. Takes a full minute to get the full effect of the ability. Even longer if youre mixing in Disarming Strike since they share cooldowns. Even with TTK changes, this ability isnt worth it unless youre on a 5 minute boss fight. I think should produce all the effects with the single strike, that way you can rotate your disarming strike with it.
Flying Kick - Cool ability, but not being able to use while in close range to the target is kinda silly imo.
Iron Fists - Cool ability, but not being able to use indoors or in dungeons is kinda silly. Also the 10 minute cooldown is a little crazy, 2-5 minutes seems more appropriate.
Falling Petal, Slow Breathing, Spirit Sustenance, Stone Stance, Ethereal Body, and Fleet of Foot - These 6 abilities should either be in your Skills book, or on the secondary hotbar with Sneak & stances. There are too many abilities to try squeezing into our 10 ability slots, and too many of them that will end up never being used if they stay like this. You pretty much always need Mend, Feign, Jab, Celestial strike, Round kick, Disarming strike, Taunt, and Sweeping Strike loaded at all times, so youre left with 2 slots to juggle 10 abilities with the way its set up now. Not my idea of a fun time.
Double Handed Strike - Great ability, love it
Cyclone Staff - Seems cool in theory. Not a fan of limiting skills to 2handed staff weapons only, especially with such limited options for Monk 2h staves. Another channeled ability, very much not a fan of channeling abilities on Monks.
Wind Style - 10% Movement speed needs an increase, especially as being a pull class. BST basically gets permanent 15% run speed with sneak built in, doesn't seem right in comparison. The bonus hit chance should scale with stats. If it's setup the same as the old wind chance, its only a 5% chance for an extra hit, which makes it pointless for DPS over Sun Stance. I don't see why there would be the need of 2 DPS stances. I think Wind Style should be just for Mobility & pulling.
Styles in general - I think they should scale with stats. Moon scale with STA, Wind with AGI, Sun with Dex or Str. I'm not a fan of the 1(L1) to 180(L60) type modifiers without modifiers.. They make the item progression not feel as good as it should.
