Cleric Combat Gameplay is great, they still lack QoL utility spells

Geldrey Not as far as I know. Maybe they meant Lull (in dungeons, which Druids can't do)? You'd think maybe they meant snare, but that's undead only and they were talking about non-undead utility.

I still don't know how anyone could honestly say that asking for Clerics to have the ability to summon a light source, like they could at level 1 in classic EQ, is too much to ask, and that's about the only utility I've seen suggested more than once so far. Is that really a terrible idea to you @Neltera?

Pretty sure ALL the healers can summon food and drink, so that's not something Clerics uniquely bring to the group.

EDIT: Oh, maybe they meant Blind? I hear there's some way you can use Blind as kind of a pseudo-snare? I'm not sure how it works, I'm always afraid to use it and have the mob dash off in a random direction and cause a train!

A shaman can dot, hot, and then sit.

Standing to Holy Strike costs you 16% of one med tick every 10 seconds. DoTs Cost hundreds of mana per cast.

Cleric DPS is much more efficient.

Mesh Since the last healer nerfs, if its not a baby pull, you can not swing, cause you have to sit, because piety is practically a myth.

I would really like to know the exact percentage of the rate of Piety on a Smite. It must be something ridiculous like 1% or so. It is the only proc i care about and it never happens when i need mana.

Clerics heal. They're the best at it. Not every class needs QoL, slows, snares, etc. This is a team based game, not a solo game. We don't need classes that are ambigous and can do everything.
