I woke up at 7am today to try to get the widow vethra camp but it was already taken. I logged in every 30 minutes from 7 am to 9pm to check the camp. From what I saw it was camped the entirety of that time by one single guy. When I logged in at 930 to check again, the guy was gone but a dude from yesterday who had the camp all day was there.
So 3 full days of trying to get a camp and I havent even gotten to kill the named a single time. If only the people with absolutely no life can have access to nameds that drop gear then there has to be alternate ways for people to get good gear.
People have said "but when you finally get the camp and get the item itll feel great!" I'm sorry, but I've already wasted at least 16 hours of my time just TRYING to get a CHANCE to get loot from the named mob. I'm done. I'm never going to do it again.
"Just farm the money and buy the item" - That isn't exactly fun or exciting at all. In fact that is the exact opposite of what I want in an MMORPG. I dont want to play "market simulator" and "shopping simulator". I want to adventure, kill cool enemies, and find cool items. I want it to be challenging, and I do not agree that logging in every 10 minutes 16 hours a day to get a chance to fight a named mob is a challenge.
"Go to dungeons, there are more named mobs in them and you might be able to get a chance" Wyrmsbane and AC had level 30+ players camping the named mobs for hours too.
I honestly just think I'm done with the game. Think that the frustration its giving me isnt worth the small number of awesome moments it has. It sucks because I love the gameplay - when the stars align and I get a group AND there is a camp available.
