Desired Stats

Hello! I am curious as to what would be considered with the leaning away from Enchanter, what would be the main "stats" you would want on an Inquisitor?

I feel like it is designed to have "Them all" but I may be misreading how the stats will work. Would it be more Stam/Str/Int post rework? Or is Cha also needed?

Any advice from those with a bit higher level Inquis would be appreciated!

I want to test stats that augment block some time. but last i played i went all agility and liked that okay. our damage with spells is so dookey i wouldn't consider pumping int personally. I need to make or rummage around and see if i have a full set of stamina jewelry, and test that vs full set of agility jewelry and see how it does.

All martial stats are relevant, with HP, AC, STA and AGI being core as a tank for their defensive benefits. DEX is useful for channeling spells and landing innates more reliably, though I don't think you need to focus on it, and STR is just for melee damage (which might relate to threat directly) and carry weight capacity.

INT is more important now that you'll be needing to cast more spells which can be pretty costly and not the most efficient, plus some of them actually deal damage now. WIS and CHA can pretty much be ignored.

Yeah maybe I am just thinking too deeply about it. I wanted to play an inquis for awhile, but wanted deep elf, so was gonna skip it, then they included the deep, and that has pulled me back. I just thought they might be "We need to spread more stats to be relevant" but Stam/Int/agi for tanking does seem like higher needs.

Do we know if int actually increases any of the spells ratios?

I think my Inquisitor was only level 25ish (hard to remember), but I did VERY LOW damage to non spell-casters. I remember swapping to a two handed weapon to try and solo better and it didn't really speed things up that much.

Because of this experience whenever I made my Deep Elf Inquisitor I dumped all of my points into AGI and INT.

Maybe not the wisest decision, but I feel like Inquisitors are going to be dealing low melee damage most of the time anyways, to the point where I question how useful STR/DEX actually is. I had no problems with aggro or anything. But again this was relatively low level gameplay.

i'm going to begin EA with all points in agility then stamina, agility clicky.

i think dex (to hit) could be good. i think str (for block/carry weight) could be good. our damage is so turds with the spells the + from int would be a rounding error. i hope they address this one day.

Your damage is always gonna be Z tier. When grouped, whether you stack int or not won't even come close to making any kind of TTK difference and I don't think it would help with threat. If you wanna solo a lot maybe it would be worthwile but I doubt you can even think about tackling light blues past level 30 idk.
AGI is by far the rarest stat to come by with gear so I would pump it to the max, then STA if you have any points left.

defixio That may change with traits revamp but nothing beats the RM trait atm. A free self dispel is far more useful than a 15 sec agi boost.
