Shaman Research Spell (group lesser regen)

Ensi

Is this a skill combine or simply gather and combine?

I do not know much about research thus far...beyond seeing various pages drop.

Shoklen

No one knows anything about spell research outside the development team at this point.

Ghorast

It was pretty stupid to give group buffs to existing characters while leaving ones created after the revamp hanging.

Ensi

Ghorast stupid is a bit harsh and perhaps shortsighted as they (the dev team) are scrambling to bring a lot of threads together for EA - with their volunteer staff that are also mostly working day jobs to boot.

I can't imagine how they are doing all of this 🙂

I think these things will get shored up, I was just wondering if anyone had gleaned anything yet.

Jephry

What gets me is that druids get group spells EARLY, while our good ones are researched? Um...when I think "shaman," the very LAST thing I think is spell research. Perhaps a ritual of some kind to ask their gods for the granting of the knowledge, but research? That's wizard territory.

Ensi

Jephry SHM get a group HoT at 20 (lesser rite of mending) - druids do not get one by then. Its important to post facts here - while I agree DRU are a well designed and strong class, SHM get access to the regen before them at all levels.

Growlron

Ensi That still translates to.. Shaman are just worse Druids.

Where is parity in class? We get it earlier isnt parity.

Clerics get Rez. That's parity. Clerics get big bonking direct heals. That's parity.

Give shaman back a SPIRIT pet (non combat) like i described. https://forum.monstersandmemories.com/d/554-shaman-re-rework. That's parity.

Luda

Growlron Agree.

OP seems to know one of the results of spell research, they wrote it on the name of the thread. Ive heard a similar rumor about the druid journal pages ultimately resulting in a group version of SoW, these assumptions and rumors must come from somewhere.
