[Updated post to compile all shared tips] Recreating a thread from the now-archived Discord forums which was as enlightening as it was fun. Plus, a lot has changed since then. It can be a command, interaction, pro-tip, something often overlooked in the New Player Guide, whatever!

So, what are your favorite MnM tips & tricks?

Spells & Abilities

You can scribe higher level spells into your spellbook before you can memorize them, this saves on inventory space if you'll be out for an adventure and expect to ding. This does not apply to non-spells like martial abilities, things in the Skills or Innates tabs.

States

You do not consume food or water while under the Warmth of the Hearth buff, so if you have to AFK do it at an Inn or other place which has the buff. Especially helpful for new players short on coin.

Commands

You can add a message to your LFG status that shows up in the LFG tool and /who all lfg. For example, /lfg on LF Tel'Ekir or Wyrmsbane nameds
You can bind sense heading and /look to a movement key and then automatically level up sense heading and constantly be seeing cool MUD stuff
/tt Will tell target
Pressing the F key will assist your target
Pressing the U key will do a Left Click I believe (useful for gathering nodes)

You can also right click someone's name in chat to get options to invite to group, consent corpse, tell, who, ignore
Also middle mouse clicking on your HP/Mana/Endurance bar changes the border style. It'll add things like a snake, gems, a totem looking thing, etc.
You can create shortcuts/links to your equipment and inventory slots with Shift + Left-click (Hold), then once the slot appears on your mouse cursor, drag it to a Hotbar slot. Especially useful for fast swaps of gathering tools or between 1H and 2H in combat.
You can rearrange order of auras on your aura bar by moving the respective spells in your spellbook.

Gameplay

You can visit the Bath House in Night Harbor for an actual bath. If you bathe long enough, you get a Charisma Buff.

You can start summoning a new pet to replace an existing one, click dismiss right before spell finishes casting.
Aggro camping - If you need to clear aggro, you can do things like have a pet distract an enemy, root/mes any aggro'ed enemies then camp out to safety.

Chat

/filter off turns off the language filter, this can help prevent the sometimes-aggressive filtering from blocking NPC dialogue.

I know you mentioned spells, but I figured its worth a note to mention it is spells ONLY. Scrolls for skills or auras will eat up your inventory until proper level.

I don't remember all the keybinds, but by default there's a few that do certain things. For example:

I can't remember the rest off the top of my head. Worth checking the key binds though for more!

PACKATK74 for sense heading just stick the skill on your hotbar somewhere and rebind that specific hotbar to be the same key as turn/strafe left or right. Same thing for /look. Make a macro and have the macro be /look. Put the macro on your hotbar and do the same thing, rebind it to a movement key. It gets a little spammy at a camp but I've found some cool stuff running around this way. I have a specific chat window just for MUD stuff/emotes/faction so it keeps it all contained.

I used to do something similar in EQ with sense heading, but not sure I can spare the hot bar space here.

Arkaeus Yes, I also noticed the last time I went through there that See Invis does not seem to help with that anymore? Is that a bug or intended do we think?
