Cleric could use some holy light.

Pleasurable

Cleric needs something more than just rez and buffs. Dark is friction that a Cleric could solve. Holy Light could come in many forms that we can discuss here. Since Shaman and Druid get a very useful buff at 8. That would fit quite nicely for a Cleric at 8. I don't use Discord so if anyone wants to float that idea over or tell me it was already discussed you have my permission.

Yeah it's odd they don't have it already, even in classic EQ Cleric's got a light summon spell (made a light-casting hat). Clerics have less utility than the other healers as it is. In EQ it was made up for by being WAY better healers (like Complete Heal). They aren't THAT much better healers here than the others, so ought to have more utility. At least as much as they did in EQ, where they had the summon light source ability. Probably more than that though frankly, but this seems like a no-brainer minimum Clerics should get.

Neltera

Why do you all want utility? Why not play druid or shaman if you want utility?
I want more utility for them.

I do NOT want more utility for the cleric. Just give me more heal spells and bigger heals and i am happy. The personal tools we have are enough for me, but i would not mind a spell that summons a lightsource, so i can be the healing beacon in the dark. XD
How about we get to conjure a shield also and it glows?
That would lean into the "My faith is my shield"-idea literally.

I think the healer archetype as a whole should have less utility and more healing focus. Utility should go mainly to the Support archetype, with a bit sprinkled on every class in the game, but just a tad.
With that said, I consider light spells more fluff than utility, a bit stronger than "point north" but less important than "soulbind", and the concept of Holy light feels appropriate so it would be neat to see.

Neltera

Gathbard I am mostly with you, but light seems to be more then fluff in MnM.
If you can not see in the dark, there are pitch black areas.
