Stat Priority?

Any ideas on stat priority? For starting new chars in EA and on going.

Im guessing STR then anything else? Or just dump as much into STR?

Kikash mainly depends on what you want, damage you'll want max str and dex. Personally I'm planning on running max agi with remaining points in sta for survivability since dex and str are easier to find on gear.

Did think this, STR and DEX are probably easier to find on items. May need to go STR though as a DE due to being a weakling.

It's STR. Go strong. The DEX you need will come on gear eventually. In raids I sit at capped STR without activating Strong, but I wouldnt be capped without it, So I am going Strong for my trait again (on Ogre).

Deep Elves while cool have terrible stats for Monk.

Base DE vs Ogre = -6 STR, -4 STA, +1 DEX, +4 AGI.

Dump all your points into STR on the ogre and put the rest in DEX and call it a day. The racial is also no contest for 90% of what you will be doing as a Monk.

This is purely off of min/max which isn't the biggest deal.

I just made a post about this in general, but in short does the game tell us practically "in game" how these stat choices apply and affect the game? If not it seems a point of friction choice, rather than a fun choice. Do we know how the hit chance is calculated? Or how Strength affects the damage? Any diminishing returns on it? I went with a Human Monk Strength Boon and 25 St 27 Dex 21 Sta. Has there been Meta discerned. For instance, if I put everything in Strength, but I missed a hit cap it could be pointless?

With the new racial traits humans look much better? Ogre strength still seems strong though?

Definitely considering human for heal + bludgeoning
