Curious how Bards like the Deep Dive changes

With a drum it should. It honestly feels a little over-tuned right now at lv 51 and the 95% drum.

Read deep dive and was very pleased, my only concern was it didn’t specify if we still have lull or not. Once I got in and played for a few hours testing various things I was blown away (we also still have lull). Really like the measure mechanic for buff songs while twisting is required for offensive. The hybrid is great. Very happy about removing DW and gaining DA. The cha stat changes for us are great and clear. Loving it, xilith cooked on this one and it shows, dude fucking rocks.

MikeXG bard is now the best luller in game and only class capable of doing more than one target at once (against the 5-6 song timing anyway)

Also a top magic purger now being able to purge every 3s

[unknown] I haven't checked the enchanter side, but I personally would be totally fine with one of these scenarios:

A) Bard is best luller with the second best charm (Enchanter first charm).
B) Bard is the best charmer with the second best lull (Enchanter first lull).

With Cha main stat scenario B feels more appropriate, but it's not like A sucks. I would be happy either way, as long as I'm not required to twist.
The purger aspect was an entirely unexpected but most appreciated bonus.

Gathbard also we can now DISPEL self or allies too which is HUGE for pulling compared to before if you got rooted during a pull and just general utility e.g. FEARS etc

personally i only ever used charm as a temp cc so really not fussed about it now being more limited beast/humanoids and i think enchanter should get better charm mechanics all around than a bard.

Mesh Bard does have the ability to run while casting mez though, and is often the puller/first aggro, so at least in outdoor areas instead of stunning then mezzing they can run mobs in a circle and take all the time they need to get them under control. It's not as powerful as aoe stun + aoe mez, and not usable in as many situations, but it's a pretty decent option.

I at least like the concept of it, just some kinks to work out. Right now detrimental songs drops a buff song and the reverse, even if not at song capacity.

They missed the Bard deep dive announcement that one of the underground "deep" races will be added to be able to make Bards. It's literally the only class that cannot be created in the "deep". sadface

Khadyn Did they say that they will make that change? I hope it's the Deep Gnome, better CHA and doesn't have to start in AV. Deep Gnome also have rather few classes available while Deep Elf can be most.
