Lockdown
People often don't realize they have done it, either because they are not paying attention or because they just don't want to take responsibility for it
I'm super chill in-game and have never raged at anyone for breaking mez, but I've had multiple groups rage at me for not mezzing stuff and our group wiping. What they don't realize is that I did mez the same mobs multiple times, and ended up going OOM because of other players repeatedly breaking mez.
I also had a player repeatedly break mez, and tried to peacefully explain to him in PMs how to avoid doing this. The guy got super upset and started cursing me out, saying he didn't break mez and that I was stupid etc. Randomly left the group without saying anything, so I had to explain to my group what had just transpired.
The current system kind of guarantees that a competent Enchanter/Inquisitor is likely to catch flak for the actions of another player. I don't really want a tattle system for people to yell at someone for breaking mez, but I do want a tattle system so that the mezzing player doesn't get yelled at for actions that are out of their control.
It actually reminds me of the early Overwatch days where Blizzard would hide the score charts from other players because they thought it would lead to toxicity if players could see who was under-performing, but it actually created a more hostile environment where good players tended to get blamed for losses because no one had any clue who was doing what.
