Suggestions for improvement:

When selecting character stats/appearance, retain the class and race stats/description information the left side of the screen. Currently this information disappears and left-clicking the race or class to see it again resets all progress.
Find a way to display all classes without a scrollbar similar to how all races are visible.
There is an odd centering in the border around the box that surrounds the race and class tiles. It is flush with the tiles on the top and left and has a gap on the bottom and right which makes it feel like the tiles are potentially cut off in the window.
The arrows for starting point selection are too small and have too much transparency which makes them difficult to see. Make them opaque and about 50% larger. Hovering/Selection can be indicated by strong color change.
UI provides the names of starting locations in the text at the bottom right. Place large, readable text next to each starting city on the map itself to make the choices obvious.
"Surface"/"Deep" tiles are not in the players' cone of focused vision on large monitors, which might make it so they miss the option to select Deep choices or Surface choices for races that can do both. Suggest placing these tiles at the top of the map and centered.

Lore text that would be known to the player character and is not expected to be found during play should be on the map to give the player some amount of basic information and start the world-building process. Examples: Eth-ur, Aethoril, Szuur, Calafrey, The Deep, etc. Make this text subdued and "map-like" so as to not be misinterpreted as starting city locations.
