Unchainedfury What do you mean Burnout? Burnout was a pet buff in EQ for magician, and Elementalist already gets that here. It was bugged for a very long time and didn't work if you had a bard in your group, all the way up until about the last 2 months of beta.
There is also this:
It's level 60, and it hits for 439 damage. Your pet must be close to the target, Your pet also will not turn to face the target, he has to be facing it already. Using Empowerment to pass off some intelligence made it hit for 493. With an added +20 int buff on the pet, it was about 513. It's not great, but it's far better than Elemental Bolt.
If you don't have a pet out, you can't use it, and your level 60 elemental bolt will hit for about 350. Hope you don't aggro a level 20 skeleton, because it'll take 70% of your mana bar to kill him.
