Some feedback on the campfire recovery.
It seems very whelming for the flagship utility as it reads. My understanding is the entire party will have to stop grinding to benefit and it will provide some significant hp/mp recovery while meditating. It doesn't sound like it will refresh buffs (if it does or will then this is feedback is wrong and the ability is great).
Furthermore the ranger will have a buff which makes the entire party ineffective in combat and it's up to the ranger to click off the buff, or every person must click off the buff, which is worse.
This is not useless, it will help in downtime especially after a pull goes wrong and you have what I'll call abnormal recovery (more than pulling 1-2 mobs calls for). But that isn't very often. Most groups are pulling at a pace that is smooth with no breaks (obviously life happens but generally speaking). To me, as the flagship benefit to ranger it's pretty lame unless as I said before it also refreshes buffs which will save a lot of time.
I think, if I understand the ability correctly, it should either:
1) the buff only applies to the ranger and the ranger can use it while the group continues (or is actively buffing but not medding) as a sort of group med by one person. This means the ranger is out of the fight for 30s-1m and can basically fully med a group with only the ranger as the opportunity cost.
2) add a stacking Regen component (secondary hp/mp regeneration) with this. So if you have an enc you get their mana Regen plus another passive bit from being near the campfire with the ranger. This will provide value from the skill even with an efficient/skilled group which doesn't require breaks.
I want to add again as a third option if it isn't the case already: have it refresh all non-consumable buffs (probably check party status too before we get into some buff in town shenanigans).
Overall the deep dive sounds excellent and I'm very happy. I have some concerns over button bloat for combat (seems to have more than any other class to do their baseline rotation and utility but I could be wrong) but it's hard to tell without playing it.
Thank you!
