Velthorian I don't know what to tell you. You seem to ignore everything, so this will be my last post towards you in this thread.
Necromancers are better at splitting camps and safer because they have FD and Bulwark (total immunity, same as the cleric spell). They have healthstones which are almost a full heal on a caster at 60. They've got self mana regen so they don't need clarity. Their pets have the same white damage and same stats as every pet the elementalist has except earth, which has more hp. Their spectre pet actually has higher white damage than elementalist pet. They've got more CC options on demand, they nuke harder, they have the same pet heal that Elementalist do prior to the rework. They have the same pet haste/str buff and they actually get it earlier than elementalist did, literally the exact same buff. They've got everything elementalists have and more, except bandages and weapons, and the weapons are quite frankly garbage - they're only good for the proc damage, which doesn't proc all that often and doesn't contribute that much to dps. They also get ghost form at 60 which was the exact same as druid's old long 20 minute cd ability that refills your mana bar about 60% of the way in a short amount of time. Worst case, the necromancer can always FD if things go wrong, or they can root the mob and resummon their pet. The elementalist NEEDS to have the earth pet out to be able do so, and they have to use its root to resummon if something goes awry. If their pet dies, it's time to gate, because you can't even do any damage in the current iteration. At level 60, with no pet your only option is a costly nuke that hits for about 350, you have zero CC, gate or die. Necromancer doesn't have to deal with any of that, while simultaneously having a pet that also quad hits for 68. (70 with other buffs). Not to mention, Elemental Resurgence, their new ability is bugged. Master of Elements is still a 20 minute cooldown ability that doesn't do anything and wasn't touched or changed at all in the update. They didn't touch the bad auras on the other pets.
So it sounds like the entire class is propped up by bandages being reasonably strong, it's really the only edge they have if you want to call it that. Necro also have charm, if they really want to show up the elementalist even more so. Like I don't know how else to make you understand if one class has the same things as another, plus 15 extra strong things, versus one strong thing the other class has -- nothing is going to make you believe it if you are unwilling to look at those things. Keep playing the class (or don't) and you'll see eventually.
